The Kimmy Killer race was planned to be a one off event back in February 2012 but it's now been held on three occasions. The 10K (6.21 mile) route is a mixture of road and trail, starting and finishing alongside Winterhill School on Little Common Lane, Kimberworth. It consists of 3 lapped climbs up the infamous West Hill in Kimberworth - some 251 metres of climb in total - meaning it certainly isn't a PB course!
All proceeds from the race go to that years chosen charity. For 2019 it was the Rotherham Hospice in memory of Carolyn who was time- keeper for many years at races hosted by the Kimberworth Striders.
