The Kimmy Killer race was planned to be a one off event but it's third running will be on the 18th August 2019, with entries taken on the day at the Colin Pub, Kimberworth. First held in February 2012, the 10K (6.21 mile) route is a mixture of road and trail, starting and finishing alongside Winterhills School on Little Common Lane, Kimberworth. It consists of 3 lapped climbs up the infamous West Hill in Kimberworth - some 251 metres of climb in total - meaning it certainly isn't a PB course!
All proceeds from the race go to that years chosen charity. For 2019 it will be Rotherham Hospice in memory of Carolyn who was time keeper for many years at races hosted by the Kimberworth Striders.
